Join Raquel Bueno and Rebecca Carey for a special practice focusing on the Heart. In this rich practice we will explore Mudra (a meditative, symbolic gesture), Mantra (a powerful, sacred phrase), Meditation, and Asana (posture) to liberate the Heart and invite fearlessness as we live with love, compassion, acceptance, and courage. We will also have the gift of live music by Chant Ram, a local Nashville Kirtan band, to add to our practice! Raquel is a seasoned, authentic, and beautifully gifted teacher. Raquel believes in the power of Mantra and Mudra in Yoga practice to enhance healing and opening and has studied them extensively. She teaches these elements in a wonderfully accessible way that can resonate with the beginner to the advanced practitioner. Learn more about Raquel here! Rebecca will lead an asana practice to synchronize mind and body to invite opening, interest, and lightness in the Heart center.

It was truly an honor to be a part of the 2014 Music City Yoga Festival! The event was incredibly fun and a huge success! It was wonderful to see so much of Nashville's thriving and diverse Yoga community in one place. Being able to teach the Yin class was a beautiful experience for which I am very grateful. Thanks to the wonderful yogis and yoginis who practiced and participated! The classes were all fantastic and the market-place area provided a cool space to relax and hangout. The event also accomplished the amazing feat of raising over $10,000 for the Africa Yoga Project and Small World Yoga! Congratulations!!! Two talented photographers were on hand to catch moments throughout the day. Here are some photos from the my Yin class and a link to find more from the entire event!
