Slow & Deep Series at Unity Yoga Room

In this series, we will explore how coordinating gentle movement with the breath can feel like a powerful moving meditation. Our pace will be slow and sweet to give us time to notice all the elements of our yoga practice working together. By moving at this pace, we will be able to find new perspectives on the poses as well as build strength and stability. We will also create space and invite balance with deep opening Yin postures and relax in Restorative postures to calm and renew.
With depth in our practice, we can nourish and address our whole being, the external and the internal. In this series, we will explore Meditation and Pranayama (breathing techniques) that allow awareness to move deeper inward to explore and understand the many connections between the mind, body, heart, and spirit.
Overall, this series will create a wonderful sense of depth, sweetness, and balance in your Yoga experience.
